DEER CREEK-MACKINAW
Olympia won its 17th team regional title in program history in dominant fashion for coach Josh Collins, posting 292.5 team points at Deer Creek-Mackinaw.
Eureka (117.5) placed second, followed by Illinois Valley Central (106.5), El Paso-Gridley (105), Tremont (104), Deer Creek-Mackinaw (95), Illini Bluffs (94), Knoxville (79.5), Normal University (48), Midwest Central (24), Manual (23) and Peoria Heights (19).
Olympia advanced 13 wrestlers to the sectional round, including seven individual regional champions. Winning titles for the Spartans were Connor Collins (106), Brandon Gaither (113), Tucker Garey (126), Kenzer Burrell (138), Kaiden Collins (157), Caleb Peters (190) and Cole Maness (215).
Second-place sectional qualifiers for Olympia were Ryan Ballinger (120) and Darian Holloway (285), and third-placers Carter Knobloch (132), Austin Kisner (150), Kayden Thomas (165) and Isaac Warnock (175).
Eureka had four sectional qualifiers, led by regional champs Finn Hoffman (144) and Sam Hoffman (150). Illinois Valley Central also advanced four, led by regional champs Maison Toliver (165) and Owen Moser (175).
Tremont advanced five to the sectional meet, El Paso-Gridley advanced four, and Deer Creek-Mackinaw advanced five, led by a regional champion in Joey Humphries (285). Knoxville advanced two wrestlers to the sectional.
Illinis Bluffs had a pair of regional champs in Liam Major (120) and Barrett Speck (132) among its four sectional qualifiers.

RIDGEVIEW
The boys from Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley/Fisher dominated the field in winning the co-op’s 7th team regional title at Ridgeview on Saturday, advancing all 14 wrestlers to the sectional round.
Coach Josh Carter marched eight wrestlers to the top of the awards stand in regional champions Bentley Fields (106), Cam Brucker (132), Landen Lage (138), Nolan Lowe (144), Hunter Brandon (150), Hudson Babb (157), Sam Manson (190) and Jaxon Wright (215).
Placing second for GCMS/Fisher were sectional qualifiers Ian Rotramel (113), Gage Martin (126), Cooper Miller (165) and Carson Sexton (285). Also advancing were third-placers Kaden Huster (120) and Ethan Lowe (175).
Unity (159) placed second, followed by St. Joseph-Ogden (142.5), LeRoyTri-Valley (118.5), Heyworth (117.5), Monticello (99), Hoopeston Area/Milford (77), Clinton (63), Ridgeview (51), Bismarck-Henning-Rossville-Alvin/Armstrong (33), DeLand-Weldon/Bement-Cerro Gordo-Blue Ridge (23), and St. Thomas More (21.5).

PORTA
Host PORTA won its 22nd team regional title overall on Saturday, 21 of which have come under coach Jeff Hill, who has guided the program to five state finals trophies that includes a 2010 team state title.
The Bluejays posted 189.5 points, with four regional champions leading a group of nine sectional qualifiers. Winning titles for PORTA were Coyt Radamaker (106), Kainin Fillbright (120), Jaxen Feagans (138) and Justin Zimmerman (165).
Zach Bryant (144), Hunter King (150) and Caleb Cass (175) placed second to advance, along with third-place Logan Baker (157).
Mt. Zion (158.5) placed second, followed by Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth (155), Rochester (138), Williamsville (85.5), Unity Christian/Argenta-Oreana (75), Sacred Heart-Griffin (52.5), Pleasant Plains/Pleasant Hill (38), St. Teresa (30) and Riverton (28).
