Wheaton Central High School

Officially known as the “State Historian”, he coached at Wheaton Central for 14 years. His teams have won 125 and lost 50. He won Conference and District Championships and in 1966 his team placed 2nd in the State. Inducted into the Hall of Fame for Achievement as a Contributor, in promoting the qualities of excellence in the sport of wrestling in the State of Illinois.

* Recipient of 125,000 entered to UNI

* IWF Team Leader 1979/1980-1989; New York 1979; Germany 1987; and China 1985.

* Grand Marshall Rockford 1987

* Honorary Chairman World Cup 1985

* Wheaton Central Named after him in 1990 – yearbook dedication 1988

* Co-coach at AA Indiana Classic 1994

* Grand Marshal 1984

* Man of the year 1985-86

* Retire 1988

* Team Coach Pittsburg Classic 1996

* Honorary Director – World Cadets 1994
