Paul "Pete" Ross
Lincoln
Pete Ross began his wrestling career at Lincoln High School where he wrestled for 3 years. He was unable to compete at Illinois State University because of an injury. At about this time, his desire to stay with wrestling motivated him to begin his officiating career.
Pete has officiated for 30 years. He has worked 24 Regionals, 16 Sectionals, 6 Dual Team Sectionals, 12 State Tournaments as well as 6 IESA State Tournaments.
Pete helped form the IWCOA Wrestling Clinic for Central Illinois at Lincoln Community School as an instructor.
His love for wrestling has been instrumental in Pete's giving much of his time to providing free clinics and assisting the Central Illinois officials to develop their skills.
