Cheesman has coached Freestyle, Greco-Roman, IKWF and high school wrestlers and has a coaching record of 338-125-4, a 72.3% winning percentage. He has coached 27 IHSA State Qualifiers, three IHSA State Placers, and two IHSA Regional Team Champions. Cheesman has also coached 28 IKWF State Qualifiers and 8 IKWF State Placers.
